When should I schedule my maternity session?
The ideal time for a maternity session is between 30–34 weeks, when your baby bump is beautifully visible but you're still comfortable enough to move around and enjoy your session. I recommend booking several months in advance, especially if you're hoping for a spring or fall date.

What should I wear?
After booking, you'll receive a detailed maternity prep guide with everything you need to feel prepared. You'll also have access to my Maternity Client Closet, where you can choose from a collection of beautiful gowns designed specifically for maternity photography. I'll bring your selected gown(s) and accessories to your session, along with changing accommodations, so all you have to do is show up and enjoy the experience.

What should my family wear?
Neutral, coordinated colors photograph beautifully and keep the focus on your growing family. Husbands and children are encouraged to dress comfortably while coordinating with your chosen gown. I'll include wardrobe tips and inspiration in your prep guide to make planning simple and stress-free.

What should I bring to my session?
Just yourself, a bottle of water, and your excitement! I'll bring your selected gown(s), accessories, and everything needed for your session. After booking, you'll receive a detailed prep guide with wardrobe recommendations, helpful tips, and everything you need to feel confident and prepared.

Can my partner and children be included?
Absolutely! Whether this is your first baby or you're welcoming another little one, your partner and children are always welcome to be part of your maternity session. These photographs celebrate your growing family, not just your baby bump.

I'm nervous in front of the camera. Will you help me pose?
Yes! Most expecting moms tell me this before their session. You don't need to know what to do or worry about posing. I'll gently guide you every step of the way so you feel comfortable, confident, and beautiful while capturing natural moments with the people you love.

What happens if it rains?
North Carolina weather can be unpredictable. If rain or severe weather gets in the way, we'll simply reschedule for another date. I want your session to be relaxed and enjoyable—not stressful.

When will I receive my gallery?
Your fully edited gallery is typically delivered within 2-3 weeks after your session, so you'll be able to relive this special season before your little one arrives.
