Long before tiny fingers and sleepy smiles, there's this beautiful season of anticipation—the beginning of a story you'll cherish for the rest of your life. Let's preserve these moments before your little one arrives.
When should I schedule my newborn session?
Newborn sessions are best photographed within the first two weeks after birth, when babies are typically sleepiest and curl naturally into those sweet newborn poses. I recommend reserving your session during pregnancy, then simply letting me know when your little one arrives so we can choose the perfect date.
What should we wear?
After booking, you'll receive a detailed newborn prep guide with wardrobe tips and everything you need to feel prepared. Soft, neutral colors photograph beautifully and create a timeless look that keeps the focus on your family and your new baby.
Do I need to bring anything?
Just the essentials for your baby, such as diapers, wipes, burp cloths, and a pacifier if you use one. If you have a special outfit, blanket, or family heirloom you'd like included, I'd love to incorporate it into your session.
Can parents and siblings be included?
Absolutely! Family and sibling portraits are included with Family Focused and Signature Sessions. These first days are about more than just your newborn—they're about celebrating your growing family.
What if my baby won't sleep or needs to eat?
That's completely normal! Newborn sessions are baby-led, with plenty of time built in for feedings, cuddles, diaper changes, and soothing. There's never a need to worry if we need to pause—your baby's comfort always comes first.
Will you provide wraps and props?
Yes! For studio sessions, I'll have a curated selection of wraps, blankets, headbands, bonnets, and simple props ready for your session. Beforehand, we'll discuss the colors and style you'd love so everything is prepared when you arrive.
When will I receive my gallery?
Your fully edited gallery is typically delivered within 1–2 weeks after your session.
